How you can see the Red Arrows above Suffolk today

The iconic Red Arrows will be over Suffolk today to celebrate the King's birthday.

The King's Birthday Flypast will see a large formation of aircraft take to the skies as they make their way to London on Saturday.

According to Military Airshows, the display for King Charles' birthday today will soar over Suffolk again, after leaving RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire at 12.28pm.

It will then travel over the North Sea and start the display near Lowestoft and Southwold at about 12.50pm.

The formation will then soar over Woodbridge at about 12.55pm.

It will then fly over the parts of the A12, before heading over Ipswich at about 12.56pm.

The Red Arrows will then exit Suffolk, entering Colchester at 12:58pm.

Both the Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are scheduled to take part in the event.

The official Red Arrows flypast at Buckingham Palace for King Charles' royal birthday is expected to take place at about 1.06pm before landing back at RAF Waddington at 12.28pm.

Saturday marks the day of the King's celebrated birthday, although his actual birthday is November 14.

Earlier this month a rehearsal of the Red Arrows flypast was spotted over the Suffolk.

Modern stealth fighters including eight RAF Typhoons travelled over the region on Monday.

The planes flew over Southwold, Beccles, Halesworth and Harleston.
