Move over chocolate, there's a new egg in town.
Artisanal luxury gelato experts Snowflake have created a truly special (and very realistic) ice cream combination just in time for Easter.
After last year’s hugely popular ‘Avolato’ – a vegan avocado gelato with a nut butter stone – went viral, the brand is back at its counter in Selfridges with an even more impressive Gelato Easter Egg.
Set to be an immediate Instagram hit, a crisp Belgian chocolate casing – offered in a range of pastel hues from pink and duck-egg blue, to a classic hen’s egg colouring – reveals a creamy white chocolate gelato within injected with a tropical fresh mango and passionfruit sorbet ie: the yolk.
It is made entirely of natural ingredients and looks every bit delish as it sounds.
The eggs are served in a handmade basket with edible baked butter kataifi nests and will make the perfect gift this Easter.
They are available exclusively at the Snowflake counter at Selfridges.
