“Selling the OC ”Cast Member Says She Has the 'Weirdest Crush' on Boss Jason Oppenheim and Coworkers Tease Her

Ali Harper is opening up about her office crush — her boss, Jason Oppenehim.

During a Wednesday, June 26, interview on the Domenick Nati Show, the Selling the OC star was asked to weigh in on which of her Oppenheim Group co-workers she’d be most likely to date.

“I have the weirdest crush on Jason,” Harper admitted. “And he’s like 5’1. And I’m 6 feet tall.”

She added that her costars Kayla Cardona and Brandi Marshall tease her about her feelings for the O Group co-founder.

“They always give me such crap about it,” she said. “They’re like, ‘You and Jason.’ It would be interesting dating someone that was that much shorter than me.”

However, when it comes to relationships, Harper is off the market. She recently got engaged to boyfriend Lucas England.

As for Oppenheim, he told PEOPLE in November 2023 that he was taking some time to be single after getting serious with his Selling Sunset costar Chrishell Stause and then model Marie-Lou Nurk.

Stause isn't the only colleague he's dated either: the broker was previously linked to Selling Sunset's Mary Fitzgerald, with whom he had an on-again, off-again relationship for a year, and Nicole Young, whom he dated before she became a realtor.

Harper joined the Oppenheim Group’s Orange County office in the show’s second season as an aspiring agent who was looking to break into real estate.

Season 3 of the Netflix docusoap saw the Nashville native facing criticism for her lack of experience.

In the finale episode, agents Polly Brindle and Gio Helou expressed concern to Jason that Harper was “unprepared for the big leagues” based on her performance at an open house.

Their boss responded, "She has not developed the experience that she should have at this stage of the game. I shouldn't have people at the office that aren't prepared to hold an open house, at the very least, and don't have a basic understanding of real estate."

On The Domenick Nati Show, Harper confirmed that she still hasn’t received her real estate license.

“This answer might be changing soon,” she said. “But in terms of what I can talk about when I was filming the show, no. I was not able to get my license and have that be part of season 3. And that is strictly because of one reason and one reason only.”

“When we started filming, I was doing all my hours with a school,” she continued, explaining that she “had everything submitted” to the California Department of Real Estate. “And it took them four months and one week to accept me to even just take the test.”

By the time she heard back, she says, she was back in Nashville, so the timing simply didn’t work out.

While Selling the OC’s fourth season hasn’t been announced, Harper says she would be “shocked” if the series wasn’t renewed — and if it is, she’s on board to come back.

“Let’s get the ball rolling,” she said. “I’m going to knock on more windows. Let’s do it!”
