'Selling Sunset' star Amanza Smith reveals she blocked former friend Chrishell Stause on Instagram and teases she'll share why 'in due time'
"Selling Sunset" star Amanza Smith confirmed that she had blocked Chrishell Stause on Instagram.
Smith denied it was due to Stause's conflicts with Nicole Young and teased she'd share why "in due time."
Stause said in a comment that she didn't want to voice any "Amanza slander."
"Selling Sunset" star Amanza Smith has officially confirmed fans' suspicions that there's drama between her and costar Chrishell Stause.
The former friends' apparent feud has played out publicly on Instagram in the days leading up to show's sixth season premiering on Netflix on Friday. In a reply to a comment on her post from a fan who pointed out that she wasn't friends with Stause on Instagram anymore, Smith confirmed that they were no longer friends in real life either and that she had blocked Stause on Instagram.
"Not friends with her in person anymore," Smith wrote. "I blocked her because the side of her face triggers me and I don't like to be triggered."

Stause is frequently at odds with Nicole Young over the course of season six, from Young voicing her annoyance about sharing credit for a years-old real-estate transaction with Stause to Stause accusing Young of doing drugs in episode six. While many have speculated that Smith and Stause's beef is related to Smith's friendship with Young, who appeared as a guest star on the show starting in season three before joining as a main cast member this season, Smith denied that was the case in another reply to a comment on her Friday Instagram post.
"I appreciate your opinion however, you are absolutely incorrect and my friendship with Nicole definitely has nothing to do with my ending of my friendship with Tarina Stause," Smith replied to a commenter who said that Smith was "in the wrong" for ending her friendship with Stause over Young's issues with Stause. The name "Tarina" references Stause's given first name, Terrina.
Smith reiterated the statement in a reply to a comment on another Friday Instagram post, writing that "Nicole's beef has nothing to do with me" and that "no one even sees anything between T and I on season six," once again seemingly referring to Stause as "T" for Terrina.
In another reply, Smith teased that she'd reveal more about why she blocked Stause "in due time," which seems to suggests fans might see their falling out chronicled in the upcoming seventh season of the show.
"I've never given any reason as to why I blocked chrishell to anyone because I don't think anyone has asked so far," she wrote. "Don't worry I'm happy to share in due time."
Stause first reacted to claims that Young had come between her and Smith in the comments of her May 4 Instagram post, writing at the time that she hadn't unfollowed Smith but that "a certain someone's agenda is working."
In the comments of a Friday Instagram post, however, Stause refused to offer further commentary on her and Smith's relationship.
"Regardless of what she says there will be no Amanza slander from me," Stause wrote. "This show convolutes real life & time will show I am not her enemy and never would be."
Season six of "Selling Sunset" is currently streaming on Netflix.
