Semi-Truck Slams Into Vehicle as Supercell Impacts Southeastern Nebraska

A semi-truck slammed into a vehicle in southeastern Nebraska as a tornado supercell moved across the region on Friday, April 26.

Footage by storm chaser Benjamin Ahrens shows a semi-truck slamming into his vehicle on a road west of Dwight, Nebraska, amid the wild weather on Friday. “A semi ended my chase early today. I’m okay. What really matters is the devastating damage these storms have done and are continuing to do,” Ahrens wrote on X.

The supercell produced at least one tornado that moved through Nebraska on Friday, damaging numerous structures in eastern Nebraska.
