Yahoo News Serena Williams, Doja Cat, Cardi B and More Hit Richie Akiva’s 10th Annual Met Gala After Party
On Monday night, nightlife entrepreneur Richie Akiva hosted his 10th annual Met Gala after party, simply called “The After.” The venue, Casa Cipriani, was a stop along the route for many others on the downtown party circuit, which included the FKA Twigs party at the Boom Boom Room and the Après Met 2 party hosted at WSA by Emily Ratajkowski and more.
Akiva was joined by friends including Serena Williams, Doja Cat, Cardi B, Offset, Storm Reid, Usher, Lizzo, Janelle Monáe, Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X, Winnie Harlow, Teyana Taylor, Evan Mock, Dilone, Guram Gvasalia, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rich the Kid, Imaan Hammam, Vittoria Ceretti, Lena Waithe, Kaytranada, Odell Beckham Jr., Aweng Ade-Chuol, Ne-Yo, Alton Mason and Daniel Lee — to name a few. One decade in and it seems Akiva has more friends in the business than ever.

Celebrities had no shortage of party options after leaving the famed gala Monday night, should they still have the energy. In addition to Akiva’s party, the Boom Boom Room and WSA, there were bashes thrown by Usher, up at the Times Square Edition, Cardi B at Silencio, and Ssense, Shayne Oliver Group and Jean Paul Gaultier’s party, held inside — where else? — the Upper East Side gentlemen’s club Sapphire.
