Serving Met PC charged with sexual assault ‘while off duty’

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been suspended and is due to appear in court charged with sexual assault.

PC Chris Lee, who is attached to the Central West Command Unit, is due to attend Westminster Magistrates’ Court to face the charge on Thursday.

The offence is alleged to have happened in November 2021 when PC Lee was off duty.

The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and PC Lee has been suspended.

The Met has not commented further.
