Several Dead, Three Injured in Fiery Highway Crash in Denton

Several people died and three others were injured on Friday, November 8, after a fiery crash on Interstate 35W in Denton, Texas. According to reports from NBC DFW, the crash involved a flatbed truck carrying several butane tanks.

According to the Denton Police Department, both the northbound and southbound lanes were closed at mile marker 84 but were later reopened. Police confirmed two people had been killed in the crash.

The flatbed truck and a sedan were completely destroyed in the blaze, NBC reported.
