Severance season 2 confirms filming underway with first look at Adam Scott
Apple TV and Ben Stiller have officially confirmed that filming for the second season of their hit show Severance is now underway.
Apple TV and Stiller, who directs the show along with Aoife McArdle, shared a joint post to Instagram with the caption "back to work". The photo was a black-and-white action shot of star Adam Scott running from left to right.
Created by Dan Erickson, the show follows a team of office workers led by Scott's Mark who work at a biotechnological corporation and separate their employees' memories into work and personal lives.

Severance season one debuted in 2022 and was immediately a critically acclaimed hit. The show was then renewed for a second season.
After rumours began circulating that the second season was being delayed due to behind the scenes issues, Stiller reassured fans by tweeting: "No one’s going to the break room.
"We’re on the same really slow schedule we’ve always been on. Same target air date we’ve always had. Love our fans and each other and we all are just working to make the show as good as possible."

The show then shut down production in 2023 due to the WGA strike. However, things eventually got back on track.
The second season promises to be even better than the first with several exciting new cast members joining the sophomore outing. Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie is one such performer joining the show, along with The Walking Dead's Merritt Wever.
Speaking at the time of the announcement, Stiller said: "We are thrilled and delighted to be back for the exciting second chapter of Severance. Though we don't know how long we've been gone or who we are outside, we are told people enjoy the show and we couldn’t be happier. Praise Kier!"
Severance is streaming now on Apple TV+.
