Severe burns can heal faster with this 3-D skin printer

Researchers at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine have developed a method for using a modified printer that covers wounds with healthy skin cells. 

The 3-D skin printer has undergone clinical trials on animals and is waiting on FDA approval to begin human trials.
