Sex Education star George Robinson is returning to TV in a new comedy show.

The actor - who played Isaac in the hit Netflix drama - has landed a role in a new series called 'Perfect' which is being produced for the Dave channel with George playing one of three disabled characters who become friends after enrolling on a work preparation scheme.

George will appear alongside 'Motherland' star Tanya Moodie, 'Back To Life' actress Juliet Cowan and Wills Whittington, who is best known for his role in 'Don’t Forget The Driver'.

'Perfect' is set in Liverpool, UK and described as a show following "three young disabled people who become unexpected friends when they meet on a half-cocked and pointless work preparation scheme.

"Together they navigate life, dating, and a system that seems designed to only benefit the people who run it."

George, who is in a wheelchair, previously told the BBC he was thrilled with the response from 'Sex Education' fans.

He said: ""I really love playing Isaac ... The feedback I've got from within the disability community is that it's really refreshing to see someone who is so comfortable within themselves and not questioning their existence."

The actor added that he hopes seeing more disabled actors onscreen will start to shift the way they are treated by others.

He went on: "I hope that through Isaac, people see how to treat someone with disability as if they were treating anyone else, regardless of it."

'Perfect' is believed to be heading to TV in August 2022 with an official start date yet to be announced.
