Sex Education viewers hail Otis actor Asa Butterfield after NSFW season two opening sequence
Netflix series Sex Education has never shied away from depictions and descriptions of various sex acts - but the series two opener took things to a whole new level.
The show began by reintroducing us to Otis Milburn - played by Asa Butterfield - who has clearly been exploring his own sexuality and desires in the time since we last checked in with the students of Moordale High.
After the teenager woke up, he set about starting his day, but not before performing a solo sex act. Multiple. Times.
The NSFW montage swiftly reminded viewers what the show is all about.
And naturally, fans soon tweeted their thoughts on the matter:
Nah. That opening scene of Sex Education is one of the funniest things I’ve watched in ages.

I'ts early, I'm bored at the airport. Might as well watch some Netflix. So I start the second season of Sex Education...

They're right, by the way. If you haven't seen it already, do not tune in while watching in a public place (or with any family members).
Fans have also praised actor Butterfield:
That opening scene in s2ep1 of #SexEducation is something else. ALL the awards for Asa Butterfield please. 💦

The much-anticipated second season sees all of the main Sex Education characters return, while a number of new arrivals also shake things up at Moordale High.
While filming some of the show's risque scenes, the cast worked with intimacy director Ita O'Brien.
Speaking to the Evening Standard earlier this week, Aimee Lou Wood (who plays Aimee Gibbs) revealed how one of O'Brien's workshops saw cast members could practise impressions of animals having sex.
“[Ita’s] going, ‘Oh yeah, I do thrusts as a bonobo monkey’," she explained. "And you’re like, ‘OK, that’s cool because it’s distancing me from the character'."
Sex Education series one and two are available to watch now on Netflix.
