A 'manipulative' sex attacker who tricked three different women into sex while using a prosthetic penis has been jailed.

Tarjit Singh, 32, whose birth name was Hannah Walters, had relationships with his victims between June 2010 and March 2016, and used a fake penis without their knowledge.

During the course of the relationships, Singh would keep clothing on and have sex with the women using a prosthetic penis, only engaging in sexual relations in the dark.

When the victims began to ask questions, Singh became abusive and manipulative, telling one victim that there was more to a relationship than sex.

Judge Oscar Del Fabbro told Singh he represents a “risk to the public of serious harm in the future” and described him as a “dangerous offender” who had committed repeated acts of violence and assaults against three “vulnerable” victims.

The victims lived with him and this was a “dangerous environment for them, riddled with violence” and problems Singh caused them emotionally, the judge said.

He added that Singh had not been “open and honest” with them about his gender issues and described him as “an accomplished and manipulative liar”.

Following a trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Singh was convicted of three counts of assault by penetration, six counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of making a threat to kill.

Singh, who kept his head down throughout the sentencing, was jailed for a total of 10 years in prison with another three years on licence. A sexual harm prevention order was imposed.

Describing the sexual contact, one victim said: “He looked like a guy, he acted like a guy.”

The victim only discovered Singh had female genitalia after finding a sex toy some months into their relationship.

She told police she felt “so stupid” that she had fallen for such lies.

Singh told another victim he had been born male, had a sex change to become female, and now wanted to be male again.

The third victim met Singh after receiving a message through the dating website Plenty of Fish in 2014.

The 16-year-old who had become involved with Singh had previously been sexually abused, was estranged from her family and needed a shoulder to cry on.

Her “naivety was plain”, the judge said, and she was taken into care by the age of 17.

In an impact statement, she told the court how she felt she had been used by Singh in his “sick games” and she feels “ashamed”.

The victim, who has been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, said: “For a long time I was afraid of going out and I felt I had to look over my shoulder.”

Another of Singh’s victims said she suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and questions whether she should be alive as she struggles with what happened to her.

She is “scared of new people” and the relationship with her new partner has been affected.

She said: “I used to be a fun-loving girl but I feel that she (Singh) stole my 20s from me.”

Singh left his victim with a fractured nose and a cut on the head. She was also doused with lighter fluid and threatened with being set alight.

The court heard Singh has previous offences including false imprisonment, perverting the course of justice, administering a noxious substance, having a Taser, going equipped, causing unnecessary suffering to an animal and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Kate Bex, defending Singh, said he has been diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder, gender dysphoria, and expert reports had stated he is a trans man.

She said his deception did not cover the length of his relationships with his victims.

She said: “Mr Singh has lived as a man for all his adult life and much of his teenage years.

“He has never lived as a woman pretending to be a man, cross-dressing as a part-time fetish. He has always presented as a man.”

She said Singh is being held at a female prison and faces ridicule because his gender dysphoria is misunderstood.
