Shadowhunters' Katherine McNamara 's new movie now available in the UK
Shadowhunters star Katherine McNamara's new movie Sugar has become available to watch in the UK on Paramount+.
The crime drama, which was originally released last year, follows two influencers as they embark on a luxury cruise through the Caribbean and South Pacific. What seems like a perfect life suddenly takes a dramatic turn and they find themselves in the middle of criminal activity with cartels holding them at gunpoint.
The mirage of their online personas starts to clash with their real-life ambitions, as a battle of wills threatens to tear them apart and it becomes a fight for survival.

As well as McNamara, Sugar also stars Anthem of a Teenage Prophet's Jasmine Sky Sarin and Unruly Passenger's Éric Bruneau, with Emmy-winner Vic Sarin on directing and co-writing duties.
McNamara is perhaps best known for playing Clary Fray on Shadowhunters between 2016 and 2019, as well as Mia Smoak on Arrow. Most recently, she has been playing the role of Abby Walker in Walker prequel series Walker: Independence.

Meanwhile, despite the Arrowverse concluding earlier this year, the actress previously told Digital Spy that she would always be open to a return as Mia.
"The one thing I will say is that I love Mia Smoak, and I'm so grateful for how well taken care of her character was, and all of the lovely things that they gave me to do, and the development that happened," she said. "The whole experience was just a joy for me. But, look, if there's anything we know about the Arrowverse, it's that if you're not dead on a slab, there's always the possibility to return."
Sugar is streaming now on Paramount+ in the UK. Shadowhunters originally aired on Freeform.
