Shane Williams cycled from Cardiff to Tenby, played in a charity football match at the Swansea.com Stadium and dislocated his finger - all in one day!

Now 10 years since he retired from rugby, it's fair to say Wales legend Williams has kept busy in his post-retirement life. The 87-cap winger is a keen cyclist and has also taken part in Ironman Wales on multiple occasions.

Whereas Ironman takes place in Tenby, Williams was actually cycling from Cardiff to the popular tourist destination this time, as part of the infamous CARTEN race.

The event sees cyclists travel a whopping 108 miles from east to west Wales, with the finish line in Tenby town square. Williams travelled the distance, and then proceeded to head back to Swansea for a charity football match.

The event, held at the home of Ospreys and Swansea City, saw Wales face England in aid of Joseph's Smile and The Bradley Lowery Foundation. Along with Williams were other former oval-shaped ball figures such as Gareth Thomas, James Hook and Rhys Webb, with a wider group of celebrities from each country also involved.

However, during the match, Williams sustained a nasty finger injury, with his ring finger seemingly facing the opposite direction. And to add to the chaos, he also pulled his hamstring.

Writing on Instagram, Williams said: "Well that was a busy Saturday! Carten ride then Joseph's Smile UK Wales v England footy match at Swansea.com Stadium. All for brilliant causes. Wales 2 England 0 by the way! Dislocated finger and pulled hamstring to boot! What can you do… I had fun!"

Wales went on to win the match 2-0, for a brilliant cause. Former Wales international Webb bagged himself a goal on the day.
