Shania Twain risked sparking Ofcom complaints as she broke a BBC rule while performing at Glastonbury. The country singer's Legends set was packed with hits including That Don't Impress Me Much and You're Still The One.

But some viewers weren't pleased as Shania swore twice on Sunday afternoon - far before the watershed. Shania addressed the crowd and said: "I feel and see your support, thank you for having me.

"This song is all about optimism so when you're really having a s***** day...from now every s***** day you have, reel back to this moment at Glastonbury and pick yourself up to feel better."

@nelly_uk7 wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "No one told Shania about the “don’t swear your on the BBC” rule at Glastonbury then." @Ryan_Advance commented: "Shania Twain swearing on the BBC, that don’t impress me much."

@AlexPaterson0 said: "Ofcam getting involved, because Shania used the word S***** before 9pm lol #Glastonbury." @TavernHoyden added: "#glastonbury Shania Twain Oops! And on BBC One as well!"

The singer also appeared to be hit with sound issues early in her set. Shania kept touching her ear piece during the early songs and appeared to be struggling to hear.

But the issues appeared to get gradually better throughout her set as Shania belted out hits including From This Moment and I'm Outta Here!
