Sharon Stone slammed by Joy Behar for sharing Billy Baldwin sex story!
Sharon Stone has been accused by Joy Behar of sharing her sex story about Billy Baldwin as she craves “relevancy”.
‘The View’ co-host Joy, 81, hit out at the ‘Basic Instinct’ actress, 66, days after she said iconic Hollywood film producer Robert Evans – who died in 2019 aged 89 – told her to bed Billy, now 61, to improve his acting when they were making ‘Sliver’ together in 1993 and because he thought the move would help “save” the movie.
Billy then fired back by saying on social media he had wondered if he “should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky and unprofessional tales about Sharon?”
Joy said on ‘The View’: “People crave relevancy and that threat that he made, ‘I’m gonna bring out all this dirt about Sharon,’ she must’ve been like, ‘Yeah, bring it out, because I haven’t been in the public eye for a while, so here it goes!'
“Ego problems with actors? What a concept!”
Joy also said the whole story “doesn’t make sense” because following Robert Evans’ theory real-life sex would improve on-screen chemistry between actors would mean the stars of ‘The Godfather’ would “have to behead a horse in order to play a mobster”.
She added: “It doesn’t make sense! It’s called acting,” Behar quipped.
Her ‘View’ co-hosts also questioned why Sharon had suddenly named Robert and Billy more than 30 years after ‘Sliver’ was released.
Sunny Hostin, 55, asked: “Sharon, are you still upset 30 years later?” – but admitted Billy had “lashed out” with his response.
Whoopi Goldberg, 68, also wondered why Sharon had decided to “bring it up anyway”.
Billy hit back at Sharon on X by saying: “Not sure why Sharon Stone keep [sic] talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?”
Sharon first wrote about the incident in her 2021 memoir – but didn’t name Robert or Billy at the time – and only identified them during her recent appearance on ‘The Louis Theroux Podcast’.
