'What Is She Doing?': Man Amazed by Girlfriend's Way of Halving Toast

A man in Oakley, Scotland, was taken aback by his girlfriend’s unusual method of sharing the last slice of toast, footage posted to TikTok shows.

Justin Duff told Storyful that he started filming his girlfriend, Billie, cutting the piece in a unique way because he felt “the rest of the world needed to see what I was witnessing.”

Duff said that Billie noticed there was only one slice of bread left when she went to make breakfast, so she decided they should share.

Where most of us simply would have cut across the middle of the slice, Billie instead sticks the knife through the thin side, and carefully produces two super-thin slices.

“What is she doing?” Duff can be heard saying in disbelief.

“We’ll still get a full slice each,” Billie says as she cuts down the length of the toast.

“Slimline toast,” Duff concludes. Credit: Justin Duff via Storyful
