Sheffield Central General Election 2024 results in full

In the city of Sheffield, thousands of people have now cast their votes for their preferred candidate to become one of the city's new MPs.

This includes in Sheffield Central, where a number of candidates have stood for election. The votes are now in and are being counted up to determine a winner.

This year, the General Election marks the first since constituency boundaries were redrawn across the country. As a result, many people will find themselves in new constituencies with new MPs.

The results of the election are being counted up throughout the night of Thursday, July 4 into the morning of Friday, July 5, and most should be known by the morning. Some may take longer, but all should be known by the end of the day.
