Shelters Open in Western Washington State Amid Severe Winter Weather

Officials in Washington opened warming centers in Tacoma and other parts of the state as severe winter weather persisted on Wednesday, February 22, local media reported.

Footage captured by Twitter user @GrnLakeGirl shows snow falling across downtown Bellevue on Wednesday morning.
