2025 marks 30 years of Shine events in Belfast, with the brand now more active and celebrated across the UK and Ireland than ever before.

Established in 1995 in Belfast by local promoter Alan Simms, Shine has grown to encompass interests in the Belsonic, Emerge & CHSq festivals, as well as venues such as The Telegraph Building, The Limelight along with Shine - one of the UK’s largest and longest running electronic music brands.

World-class venues, festivals and countless sell-out events have blossomed from the once-weekly electronic music event at the Queens Students Union and Shine wants to celebrate all those who have made it a success.

To mark this milestone, Shine will be curating a series of events across the year to pay homage to the music & DJs that have defined Belfast's most iconic and longest-running club event over the past three decades.

First up in this series is the return of legendary Shine guest Dave Clarke - the name most synonymous with Shine over the years.

Having played countless times since the late 90s, last year he played an intimate show at the Ulster Sports Club which sold out in a matter of hours.

He will perform in The Limelight Belfast on Good Friday (April 18, 2025) and will be joined by Conor Schmutz b2b Marion Hawkes.

Tickets for the special 30th anniversary show are now on sale from shine.tickets
