Shortlist revealed for Solihull business awards

An annual business awards has announced its shortlist. Solihull Chamber of Commerce has revealed the finalists for its 2024 awards which take place in September.

More than 40 businesses have been shortlisted across 11 categories in the Solihull Awards, celebrating sectors such as hospitality and retail, customer services and sustainability.

One of the category winners will be crowned overall business of the year (scroll down for the full shortlist).

Samantha Frampton, head of Solihull Chamber of Commerce, said: "I am delighted to see the list of fantastic businesses that have been shortlisted for this year's awards.

"I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to apply and I look forward to seeing everyone on the night."

The awards will be held on September 13 at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on the NEC campus in Solihull.

This year's judging panel comprised Rewired PR founder Ruth Pipkin, Kaleidoscope chief executive Calum Nisbet, Intercity Technology head of projects Sarah Griffiths, Selfridges Birmingham store director Sam Watson, Mahirs Experience chief executive Harvir Sahota and Birmingham Museums Trust director of enterprise Kingston Myles.

Mr Myles said: "It's clear that the business community is strong in Solihull. Despite the current economic conditions, it's been inspiring to see a range of international, national and local businesses all based in Solihull apply for a variety of awards.

"Judging these awards wasn't easy, all of these businesses are contributing to the economy and community in a wealth of ways.

"They're all worthy winners but I look forward to seeing the overall winners for these awards announced in September."
