HBO have confirmed that ‘Silicon Valley’ will return to American screens for its fourth season on April 23.

Sky Atlantic are yet to announce when the Great British public will be privy to these episodes, but past form suggests that they should arrive within two weeks after.

While we had to endure a three month gap between ‘Silicon Valley’s first season’s debut on HBO and its 16 July, 2014, premiere date on Sky Atlantic, which was understandable considering that Sky Atlantic were waiting to see whether or not ‘Silicon Valley’ was a hit, there was just a week long gap between its season 2 US premiere date of April 12, 2015, and it airing on UK screens on 20th April, 2015.

Sky Atlantic elongated this gap a little with ‘Silicon Valley’s’ third season, which arrived on April 24, 2016, on HBO and then aired for the first time on May 12, 2016. Looking at this, we can make an educated guess and surmise that there will be a similar distance between season four’s US and UK air dates, so it should be with us by the middle of May.

‘Silicon Valley’ has blossomed into one of HBO’s most popular comedies, averaging around 1.7 million throughout its third season, while it is also regularly peppered with awards and nominations for its portrayal of the technically brilliant but business-challenged folks over at Pied Piper that are trying to get their start-up off the ground with their integrity intact.

To celebrate the announcement of ‘Silicon Valley’s’ fourth season, Thomas Middleditch uploaded a delightful video of the leading quintet to whet your appetite.

The news of ‘Silicon Valley’s’ imminent return comes just after it was confirmed that ‘Veep’ will start its sixth season in the US a week earlier on April 16th.
