The Simpsons are at it again with another hilarious piss-take of Donald Trump's tumultuous presidency – and this time they've called upon another scandal-tainted US leader.

In the latest of the US cartoon's Trump ribbings, we see Trump converse with former FBI director James Comey, whom the President controversially fired a few weeks ago.

Demanding his loyalty, the talks take a turn to the "tapes" that the President is alleged to have of their conversations, with the Simpsonised-Trump making the silly mistake of mentioning them over and over again.

His hair also hilariously turns into a dog again, this time hiding a cassette compartment that contains the apparent tapes.

With his struggles mounting, the ghost of former President Richard Nixon then visits Trump – who better to relate to a scandal-ridden presidency, eh?

However, Nixon is understandably pleased with Trump as he notes that his own legacy might improve now that he is the "44th best President".

Among other subtle digs at Trump, the animation has surrounded the President with books entitled How to Lose Friends and Piss Off Israel as well as I'm Still Fired by former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.

And, on top of all that, it seems that Trump's advisors Kellyanne Conway, Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner have all well and truly given up in the new clip too, as the clip opened with the very Treehouse of Horror-esque scenes of the trio hanging themselves, while Vice President Mike Pence is seen anxiously rubbing off the "Vice" on his name plate.

There's no holding back from the Simpsons team here, then.

Maybe they're just trying to make up for the fact they imagined Trump would become President all the way back in 2000?
