Let’s start with something for which we can all be thankful: the season is kicking off with a three-month time jump! Not only will this allow the show to shake off some of its lingering (aka stale) storylines, but it will also usher in a “new era” for the hit drama.

When Does Sistas Season 7 Premiere?
Good news for people who hate waiting (aka everyone): the Season 7 premiere of Sistas airs on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 9/8c, just one week after the Season 6 finale. #ThankYouTylerPerry
New episodes will continue to air in that timeslot on Wednesdays. The season is expected to have 22 episodes, likely split in two parts.
Will Karen Have Her Baby in Sistas Season 7?
We’ve got good news and bad news on this front: The bad news is that, no, we don’t expect Karen to give birth in Season 7. And why should we? She’s been pregnant for four seasons and she’s not even showing yet.
Now for the good news: Thanks to Sistas‘ three-month time jump, we can confirm that Karen will finally be sporting a bump on screen in Season 7. At least it’s a start!
Is Zac the Father of Karen’s Baby?
We’re honestly tired of asking this question, mostly because the show has already given us several different answers purely to drag this storyline out for as long as possible. The trailer for Season 7 reveals that Karen is having yet another DNA test to find out whether her baby really is Zac’s, and while we’re not 100% confident that we’ll get a definitive answer (fool us twice, shame on us!), we’re choosing to remain cautiously optimistic.
Is Another Sistas Baby on the Way?
Karen may not be the only Sista with a bun in the oven for much longer. With her legal troubles finally behind her, Sabrina tells the girls that she intends to freeze her eggs. And while we’re not sure we can handle two pregnant Sistas at the same time, at least we know that Sabrina’s pregnancy won’t also include a paternity mystery!
Who Is Dying on Sistas in Season 7?
For a Tyler Perry drama, Sistas has been surprisingly light on murders lately, but that’s about to change in Season 7. The trailer includes a brief shot of someone, presumably male, being taken away on a gurney. We’re supposed to assume that it’s Gary killing off Andi’s new man (aka the brother of Gary’s secret pregnant ex-fiancée), but that would be too easy… right?
