Sittingbourne and Sheppey General Election results 2024 in full as Labour ends 14 years of Conservative rule

It was an incredibly close race in Sittingbourne and Sheppey, with Labour taking the seat from the Conservatives by less than 400 votes. With 11,919 votes, Kevin McKenna has been elected as the new MP for the constituency.

The Conservative Party candidate Aisha Cuthbert arrived second with 11,564 votes, followed by the Reform UK candidate William Fotheringham-Bray with 10,512 votes. New MP McKenna is now taking over former Tory MP Gordon Henderson, who served for the Sittingbourne and Sheppey constituency from 2010 to 2024.

Swale Independents came in at fourth position with 3,238 votes, followed by the Green Party (1,692), Liberal Democrats (1,312), Matt Brown (Independent - 521), and the The Official Monster Raving Loony Party (223).
