Ski wear: How to be stylish on the slopes this winter
Ready to hit the slopes?
The winter break sees many of us escape to the mountains, but not before checking out the new-in ski wear sections.
From Whistler to Val-d'isère, we've searched high and low for the best new outfits to be seen in on the slopes so far. From '80s-inspired all-in-ones to sleek monochrome ensembles and catwalk-inspired goggles, here are the five trends to keep an eye out for:
Go neon

Neon has dominated the streets and catwalks this year and, with the trend going nowhere in 2019, it's no surprise that the head-turning hues of slime green, fire orange and sunshine yellow have filtered through to the slopes.
To stand-out in your sportswear this ski season, neon shades are the only way to go.

The easiest way to look sleek and chic this season is to opt for a matching monochrome two-set.
The classic combination is a fail-safe in the style department. And, whether you wear it together, or mix and match throughout the week, it's a great investment sure to see you through many years to come.

Give your thermals an upgrade with Sweaty Betty's base layers.
The statement jacquard print set is (so far) the most popular ski wear item we've spotted on Instagram. Whatever your itinerary brings - from drinks at your fave après-ski spot to flying down the slopes - it's a sartorially savvy option all round.

This year sports glasses have taken over the catwalk and, while summer saw cyclist sunglasses become a must-have trend, winter sees the eye-catching aesthetic hit the slopes.
The statement accessory is sure to elevate any look. The bigger, more futuristic and colourised lenses, the better.
