Skipton's Mayor cuts the ribbon at new Morrisons Daily

SKIPTON'S Mayor Sheila Bentley carried out the official opening of a new Morrisons Daily store in the town on Friday last week.

Councillor Bentley, who in May at the annual meeting of the town council is due to stand down as the town's mayor following her year in office, cut the ribbon at the new store in Keighley Road.

Store manager, Ryan Crabtree, said the shop looked forward to welcoming old and new customers.

"Our store offers a wide range of chilled products from fresh meat to fresh fish and vegetables, we also offer Tango Ice Blasts and Jolly Rancher sweets perfect for the summer."

The store is open Monday to Sunday, from 8am to 8pm.

The store was previously solely McColls, which is now part of Morrisons.
