Sky free TV update today - 10 new things to try on your box

Sky enthusiasts with popular devices such as Sky Q, Sky Glass, or a Sky Stream box can now enjoy new voice commands starting today. The update is in celebration of the much-awaited return of House of the Dragon, allowing fans to quickly find content related to the series.

To access the latest episodes, users can simply use their remote controls or, for Sky Glass owners, say "Hello Sky" followed by one of 10 new commands. Phrases like "House Green", "Hightower", and "Rhaenyra" will bring up the newest episodes instantly, reports the Express.

The commands to try are: Team Green, House Green, Alicent, Hightower, Team Black, House Black, Rhaenyra, Westeros, Targaryen, or House of the Dragon collection.

The second season of House of the Dragon premieres today, June 17, and will be broadcast weekly on Sky Atlantic (Channel 108). For those who don't have Sky, the NOW service offers Sky Entertainment at a discounted rate of £6.99 per month instead of the usual £9.99, including access to Sky Atlantic and House of the Dragon

This offer lasts for six months. For those considering a full Sky package, there are various options currently available. A standard Sky Q box, which requires a satellite dish, is being offered at £31 per month, with this deal also including Netflix.

Sky now provides alternative ways to access shows and films with Sky Stream and Sky Glass, both of which utilise an internet connection for content.

The latest Sky Stream box, compatible with your current television, starts at £26 per month, inclusive of Netflix. For those interested in an all-in-one solution, the Sky Glass TV is available at £40 per month for the 43-inch model, increasing to £50 for the larger 65-inch version.

All these screens come with an integrated sound bar, easy access to apps like Disney+ and Prime Video, as well as additional features such as personalised recommendations and a convenient way to store content via Sky's Playlist function.
