Yahoo News Slow Horses has season 5 confirmed
The spies of Slow Horses will return for a fifth instalment, it has been confirmed ahead of the show's season four debut.
The AppleTV+ drama stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, the head of Slough House, an administrative purgatory for MI5 rejects who have botched their jobs but haven't been fired. Now expected to carry out menial tasks and fill out boring paperwork, these agents are occasionally mobbed into quitting whilst somehow still getting involved in dangerous investigations.
Following the season three finale, which aired on December 27 and set up a season four, AppleTV+ officially announced the acclaimed series has received a season five order.

In the fifth chapter, former hacktivist and computer expert Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung) shocks his colleagues by revealing he has a glamorous new girlfriend. When a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it's up to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected.
Based on the Mick Herron Slough House book series, Slow Horses also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Game of Thrones' Jonathan Pryce, with House of the Dragon's Olivia Cooke, Paul Higgins and Steven Waddington featuring in earlier seasons.

Speaking about the season three finale, the show's boss Will Smith weighed in on one of the episode's main twists, Catherine Standish (Reeves) finding out about Jackson's involvement in the demise of the former director-general of MI5, Charles Partner (James Faulkner)
"It's pretty explosive at the end of this season," Smith told Digital Spy. "The only bit of the puzzle that she can put together is the fact that it was Lamb that did it and it's whether she intuitively knows that underneath it or it needs to be spelled out."
Smith explained that in Herron's books, Standish is told directly about Jackson's involvement, adding: "We will probably get to that, yes."
All 3 seasons of Slow Horses are available to stream now on Apple TV+. Season 4 is expected to debut later this year.
