Two occupants of a small plane were reportedly uninjured after crash-landing on top of a hangar at the Spanish Fork Airport in Utah on May 21.
Dashcam footage provided by Hagen Collision CARSTAR shows the low-flying propellor plane narrowly missing a responding tow truck moments before the crash. Jaden Hagen, the tow truck driver who was at the scene, told Storyful he initially thought the plane had “lost control.”
“I was concerned it would have hit me or the building I was up against,” Hagen said.
According to Spanish Fork City public information officer Nick Porter, “both occupants of the crash came down from the roof under their own power and were treated for minor scrapes and released by EMS on scene in good condition.”
Porter added that the cause of the crash will be investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board. Credit: Hagen Collision CARSTAR via Storyful
