Saturday Night Live’s master impressionist Chloe Fineman took former child star-turned-queer icon JoJo Siwa to task during last night’s Weekend Update segment.

Fineman, 35, transformed into the 20-year-old “Karma” singer who has lately been seen sporting a much edgier look compared to her rainbow-inspired tween fashion days.

“Wow, oh my god, JoJo!” said Update’s co-anchor Colin Jost.

“That’s right, Colin; I’m a bad girl now!” retorted Fineman as Siwa while adorned in glitter, leather and black lipstick. “Yeah, it’s a pretty big change. I used to be way more sparkles and now I’m black sparkles.”

Siwa found fame as a tween on the Lifetime network’s reality series “Dance Moms” from 2015 to 2016 before releasing kiddie hits “Boomerang” and “I Can Make U Dance,” earning her millions of fans and followers online.

Since coming out as LGBTQ+ in 2021, Siwa has rebranded her image with a darker — but no less sparkly — image. Meanwhile, her April single “Karma” has racked up over 33 million views on YouTube.

And “SNL” had a field day riffing on Siwa’s new “bad girl era” style. “I look like if a figure skater joined a street gang,” said Fineman.

Added Jost, “I was gonna say [you look like] if Mad Max was on Broadway.”

“Does it scare you, Colin? Does a former child star looking like this scare you?” Fineman’s Siwa asked Jost — just before whipping out a pack of candy smokes and claiming she “does cigarettes” now.

Mocked “SNL” head writer, “Yeah, but not in the way you’re hoping.”

Fineman didn’t hold back her parody of Siwa’s viral moment earlier this year when she claimed to be a pioneer of the “gay pop” genre — a bold statement for which she later apologized.

“I’m 20 and I’m gay! I’m the first gay girl in the world! Bet you never met a gay girl before!” the bedazzled comedienne exclaimed.

“JoJo, you were quoted as saying you invented of new genre of music,” said Jost

“That’s right, gay pop!” she declared.

“That’s maybe just ‘pop’,” Jost quipped.

Fans and “SNL” viewers online were divided on whether the sketch dug too far into Siwa’s extreme, though occasionally humbling, transformation — with some saying the show “should be above” making fun of a young star even if their assessment is “funny and accurate.”

“I was on board making fun of her, but the more I learn about her, the more I feel sorry for her. No one, and I mean no one, is looking out for that girl,” wrote one conflicted watcher on X.

Added another, “Wtf. Look, I’m not a Jojo Siwa fan, but a bunch of adults getting together to make fun of a 20-year-old is just awful and pathetic. Just let her be a young person and figure out how to be a young adult. No I don’t think the ‘Karma’ video is the best rebrand but why on earth do you guys care so much?”

Noting the hard life of a young girl in the limelight, another concerned viewer chided “SNL” for targeting Siwa: “It’s a bit horrid knowing Jojo Siwa grew up in an abusive environment, is very sheltered and doesn’t really know what a normal life is then she gets picked on for like having an annoying dance thing.”
