Snowplows Clear Roads as Washington Prepares for 'Uncertain' Storm

Crews worked to clear snow from roadways in Washington on Thursday, December 7, as an “uncertain” winter storm loomed, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Footage from Washington’s Department of Transportation (WSDOT) live cameras show trucks clearing snow in Stevens Pass on Thursday.

“Beautiful to see,” the department wrote on Twitter.

A winter weather advisory was in effect for Stevens Pass until 10 am Friday, with the NWS warning of potentially difficult travel conditions. The area could see up to two feet of additional snow over the weekend, according to the NWS’s storm forecast. Credit: WSDOT East via Storyful
