Snowplows Work Overnight on Long Island

Road crews in Long Island, New York, worked overnight February 27 into February 28 as the first widespread snow event of the season impacted the tristate area.

Video shared by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Long Island branch shows conditions in Babylon overnight.

“It was a snowy night,” the department wrote on Twitter. “There was an echelon plow formation on #NY110 to move the snow off the road quickly and efficiently.”
