Soap and reality TV stars set to appear at Suffolk football event

A host of soap and reality TV stars are set to appear at a charity football match in Suffolk.

The event will see a selection of familiar faces from The Only Way Is Essex, Love Island and EastEnders battle it out in a 90 minute match.

Celebrity players confirmed so far included EastEnders stars Danny Walters, Dean Gaffney, Ricky Groves and Matt Lapinskas.

Other stars taking to the pitch include Dan Osborne from The Only Way Is Essex, TV star Calum Best, YouTuber Jeremy Lynch and Billy Brown from Love Island.

The event is in aid of TeiganSmile, a charity founded by Tony Bayliss to raise awareness about the risks associated with kissing babies on the lips, hands, or feet.

His teenage daughter Teigan was diagnosed with cerebral palsy after contracting the herpes virus at two weeks old following a kiss on the lips.

The event festivities on Sunday, July 21 will start at Cornard United Football Club in Little Cornard, near Sudbury, at 1pm with the star-studded match kicking off at 3pm.

Advance tickets cost £13.70 with the option to buy tickets on the day for £15.
