Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans MC gets new trailer

From Digital Spy

Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans MC has dropped a new trailer, giving us a look at the ferocious biker gang.

In the clip, we see a shot of Jax Teller's grave on the side of the highway, before the Mayans get on their bikes and ride off into the distance.

It comes a few months after the new FX series unveiled its first look, with the gang turning a mass of roses black as they ride.

Mayans MC was first confirmed for a 10-episode order back in January, and is set two-and-a-half years after Sons of Anarchy, focusing on the rival biker gang that crossed paths with SAMCRO and Jax.

The series stars Revolution's JD Pardo as EZ Reyes, a recruit to the gang who is torn between his loyalty to the gang and the woman he loves.

"[Writer] Kurt Sutter is a master storyteller and Mayans MC has the raw energy and intensity that are hallmarks of his signature style," FX president Nick Grad said recently.

"Thanks to Kurt, co-creator Elgin James and this amazing cast, Mayans MC builds on the legacy of Sons of Anarchy, taking it in a thrilling new direction that we can't wait for the world to see."

On top of that, it sounds like more Sons of Anarchy spin-offs are in the pipeline, with Sutter revealing that he envisioned the story in four chapters.

Mayans MC will air on FX.
