Sony announces May’s PlayStation Plus Catalogue games
Sony has announced the games set to be added to the PlayStation Plus Catalogue this month.
Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra can look forward to 18 new titles, while Premium members get an additional four games to stream.
All 22 titles will be added to PlayStation Plus on May 16, according to the PlayStation blog.
What are the highlights? Dishonored 2 is one of the most critically lauded games on the list. This is an immersive sim in which you sneak around large, semi-open levels as a deadly assassin.
Try out Lake if you’d prefer something more relaxing. It sees you drive around an idyllic town, delivering packages as a low-stakes soap opera-style story plays out between your jobs.
PlayStation 5 owners should also try Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. It is the one PS5 exclusive on the list, an action platformer that shows what the latest generation of console hardware is capable of, even if the game has a cartoony style.

How PlayStation Plus works
New to PlayStation Plus? It has a mildly confusing three tiers and four ways to access games.
Those subscribed to PlayStation Plus Essential members don’t get access to any of the above, merely the service’s handful of monthly games. In May, these include GRID: Legends, Chivalry 2 and Descenders. Claim them now if you haven’t done so.
PlayStation Plus Extra members also get access to the Catalogue, a large Xbox Game Pass-style collection of games that were originally released for PS4 and PS5.
PlayStation Plus Premium expands this collection to include older PS2 and earlier titles, which are streamed to your console rather than downloaded. It also includes game trials, which offer time-limited access to other titles.
