Sophie Ellis-Bextor explains why fans can't watch her Glastonbury set
Her performance was not filmed by the BBC
Sophie Ellis-Bextor fans are not happy that the pop star's Glastonbury performance is not available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Most sets across the main stages at the festival are filmed and streamed live on iPlayer, or made available after the performance has finished but Ellis-Bextor's was not, leaving fans confused as she sung on the Pyramid Stage.

The singer revealed on Twitter that the BBC hadn't filmed her performance: "I’m getting a lot of messages asking about watching my @glastonbury set on iPlayer.
"Obviously, that would have been wonderful, but sadly due to hours on the day it wasn’t possible for the BBC to cover my set. Next time…! Xx."

Ellis-Bextor performed in the 12:15 slot on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon. All performances after hers, including The Chicks, Cat Stevens, Blondie, Lil Nas X and Elton John were all filmed and broadcast live.
Fans of Ellis-Bextor made their disappointment known on social media with one tweeting: "Why does @bbcglasto not like happiness and fun?"

Another said: "Dear @glastonbury, we're going to need @SophieEB back next year. The @BBC forgot to film her. Headline slot? Yes, please."
Another fan commented: "How rude! So glad I saw her at Warwick castle. Insane voice but an even more insane performer."
Others correctly noted that the BBC's live coverage of the Pyramid Stage had started earlier on the Saturday with Rick Astley's midday set shown live and uploaded to iPlayer.
Many fans were also disappointed to not see the likes of former Spice Girl Melanie C, Scissor Sisters co-founder Jake Shears and Pop Stars winner Will Young on iPlayer. All three acts performed on the Avalon Stage which was not filmed by the BBC.
