Yahoo News Sophie Turner dons Taylor Swift-coded bracelet in first post since Joe Jonas split
Sophie Turner is feeling a bit fearless.
In the first social media post since the Game of Thrones star and her singer-songwriter husband Joe Jonas announced their split in a joint statement on Sept. 6, Turner shared a photo of herself wearing a friendship bracelet bearing the word "fearless" to her Instagram Stories.
Swifties will note that friendship bracelets have become a staple at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, thanks to a lyric in the Midnights track "You're On Your Own, Kid," which instructs the listener to "make the friendship bracelet, take the moment and taste it." Turner has been seen getting into the fun herself before, including when she notably donned a "Mr. Perfectly Fine" bracelet to one of the Jonas Brothers' tour stops this summer pre-split. (That bracelet referred to a Swift diss track rumored to be about Jonas.)

This new "fearless" accessory, though, could be a reference to either the Swift track or album of the same name. At first glance, it's an interesting choice given that "Fearless" is a romantic love song, however, the album Fearless as a whole, according to Swift herself, is more about a "fearless" attitude to embrace challenges in love and life.
Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, first publicly addressed their split in a joint Instagram post in September: "A statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.'"
Jonas and Turner began dating in 2016 and got engaged a year later. They wed in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony after the Billboard Music Awards in May 2019 and then threw a larger ceremony a month later in Sarrians, France.
Since the split, Turner has been seen out and about several times with Swift and, according to PEOPLE, is currently staying in Swift's New York City home amid her ongoing custody battle with Jonas, with whom she shares two young daughters.
