South Cotswolds General Election 2024 results in full: who is the new MP?
History has been made as the newly created constituency of the South Cotswolds has announced its new MP. Liberal Democrat Roz Savage will be representing the constituency at Parliament.
The General Election 2024 has seen Labour sweep to power and the Tories all but wiped out in Gloucestershire. Only Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown will return to Parliament.
Tories Alex Chalk in Cheltenham, Mark Harper in the Forest of Dean, Siobhan Baillie in Stroud, Laurence Robertson in Tewkesbury and Richard Graham in Gloucester all lost their seats. Labour won in the Forest and Stroud, Lib Dems in Cheltenham and Tewkesbury.
