South West Water will be carrying out 'planned work' in Lime Kiln car park from this Sunday (May 12).

Contractors will be working to clean the storm tank at Lime Kiln pumping station, starting on Sunday and continuing for the 'next few days.'

This work will involve an increase in tankers, but they say they are working to minimise disruption in the area.

South West Water said: “This is planned work in order to make sure it continues to operate as efficiently as possible. This routine clean will mean a partial closure of Lime Kiln Car Park from this Sunday (12 May) - work is expected to be completed by Monday, 20 May.

"To help our teams to complete this essential work, you may see an increase in tankers which is normal for this type of activity. We will do all we can to minimise disruption.”

South West Water says this is planned work has been timed to avoid school holidays or bank holidays and there will be no impact to customer services.
