Spanish Police Refloat Submarine Suspected of Transporting Cocaine to Galician Coast

Spanish police said they recovered an empty submarine, suspected of transporting cocaine, off the coast of Vilagarcia de Arousa on Tuesday, March 14.

The Guardia Civil transported the vessel to the port of Xufre, where it was confirmed to be empty, according to local news.

Spanish news reported that the submarine was suspected to have carried cocaine across the Atlantic to the Galician coast.
