Watch: Victoria Beckham says she 'couldn't commit' to Spice Girls reunion performance at Glastonbury
While headline acts for the festival have not yet been confirmed, rumours are abound that the Say You'll Be There singers will be on the bill, with Posh Spice reuniting alongside Baby, Sporty, Ginger and Scary.
But Beckham has now told US show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: “I had so much fun being in the Spice Girls.
“But now, with everything else that I have got going on with my fashion and my beauty line, four children, I couldn’t commit to that.
"I love the girls. I really, really enjoy singing Spice Girls when I’m doing karaoke, but I think I’d better leave it there.”
Fashion designer Beckham, 48, also confessed on the chat show that the matching leather biker suits she and husband David Beckham, 47, wore to a party in June 1999, are still a source of embarrassment for her.
She said: "I still... I mean it haunts me. It does haunt me, but I love it.
"It was hot. We were wearing Gucci. It was a Versace dinner, which is inappropriate in itself.
"But, you know, we really considered those outfits. I mean we really talked about it. There was a naivete to it that was just so sweet."
She said in November 2021: "I don't think we've been asked in all honesty, we haven't been asked to do it, but I do believe it could be the thing that would see all five girls on stage."
And Mel B said in 2019: "Funnily enough, my mum was at her mum’s summer party and `Victoria was there, and she did actually mention to my mum that she would love to Glastonbury."
The Spice Girls reunited, without Posh, on a tour of the UK and Ireland in 2019.
Glastonbury 2023 will take place at Worthy Farm over the Summer solstice weekend from 21 June to 25 June.
