Experts say a spoonful of a trendy ingredient with your breakfast may decrease your appetite and increase weight loss. Studies show apple cider vinegar caused total caloric intake to fall by up to 275 calories over the space of the day.

In order to reduce weight healthily, the drink should be taken along with a balanced diet and active lifestyle and can help reduce cholesterol. This fat-like substance can build up in the arteries and cause them to harden. This in turn puts pressure on the heart and forces it to work harder pushing blood through the body.

Dr Axe reports ACV also benefits the heart and helps improve blood pressure by keeping your heart healthy and strong: "An animal study in Japan showed that giving rats acetic acid, the main component in vinegar, resulted in reduced blood pressure.

"Another animal study had similar findings, demonstrating that vinegar effectively blocked the actions of a specific enzyme that raises blood pressure. A 2021 systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials confirmed similar findings with humans, with ACV significantly lowering blood pressure for people who used it."
