Spotify Wrapped 2023: How to get your top artists and Sound Town
Expect to see music fans around the world sharing their streaming stats online
Spotify Wrapped, the music service's annual streaming roundup, has landed with Taylor Swift being named the most streamed artist in the world.
"2023 was defined by the epic return of major female pop stars, sonic diversity across the charts, and a global music culture that saw the rise of powerful genres," Spotify said.
Wrapped, which first launched in 2016 as a marketing tool, is now a year-end tradition for Spotify's 574m subscribers who often share their states and listening habits on social media.
It reveals users' most-played songs, artists, and podcasts using personalised data, breaking it down into their most popular genres, and how many minutes of streaming they've done over the year.
New features rolled out for 2023 include 'Sound Towns' which matches your streaming habits with a city which shares a similar taste in music, and 'Me in 2023', which assigns you one of 12 listening characters based on your streaming habits.
Spotify Wrapped is currently being rolled out globally, and to find if yours is ready, simply head to: Spotify.com/Wrapped
How to get your Spotify Wrapped 2023
There are three ways you can get your Spotify Wrapped statistics this year:
On your mobile phone, scroll right on the top menu bar and click on the Wrapped icon.
On your desktop Spotify app, the prompt to open Wrapped should be in the centre of the screen. If it isn't, just close the programme and re-open it again to refresh your feed.

Spotify Wrapped not working or not loading?
Some users are reporting that Spotify Wrapped is not working on their devices, or the website is showing the error message: 'No healthy upstream'. Errors like this have occurred in the past due to the volume of people trying to access Spotify's servers at the same time, the best advice is to wait for a few minutes and try again.
