Stacey Solomon has thanked her fans for their support after revealing she was pregnant.

Solomon, who is married to Joe Swash, announced on 28 December she had 'been quiet' online after discovering the shock news, to the delight of fans everywhere.

Sharing a video, Solomon documented the moment she called Swash into their bathroom in order to show him the positive pregnancy test.

The delighted Swash beamed before hugging her, and the pair later posed for a photo together confirming the happy news.

This will be Swash and Solomon's third child together, and sixth child overall.

Solomon has sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships, while Swash has 15-year-old Harry with an ex-girlfriend.

Together they have three-year-old Rex and one-year old Rose. She nicknames the children her "pickles".

As Solomon and Swash were flocked with congratulations messages, the Loose Women star later shared her thanks online – and shared her fears for what's to come.

"Your messages are so beautiful," she wrote. "I have sooooo much to catch up with you all... I'm just trying to enjoy this crazy bit between Xmas and NY where no one knows what day it is with all the pickles..."

Solomon continued: "Honestly, you're all so bloody sweet and kind and I can't wait to come on here and tell you EVERYTHING.

"I can't believe we are having another baby! We are soooo excited… I'm nervous for my noon! But so so excited."

In the initial announcement, Solomon wrote: "I know I've been so quiet... Didn't really know what to say," alongside a crying laughing emoji.

"So excited to share this shocker with you all... love you lots."

Solomon has not confirmed how far along in her pregnancy she is, or when the baby was due.
