Stacey Solomon says 'I'm sorry' as she laughs off 'granny pants' blunder with fans

Stacey Solomon has told fans she's 'sorry' as she was able to laugh off flashing her pants to her millions of followers online. The Loose Women star took to Instagram on Saturday morning (June 29) with a clip of herself cracking on with some morning chores while the sun was still shining.

Stacey, 34, was seen watering her various flower beds and vegetable patches in the sprawling garden of her beloved home, affectionately called Pickle Cottage, in Essex. She was joined by daughter Rose, two, as she did various tasks, including tending to their new ducks' outdoor pen.

Rose then helped her mum feed the family's beloved pet pooches, Peanut and Teddy, but did take a break to have fun on the swing Stacey had installed in the large garden, that also now includes a play frame and zip wire. "Happy Saturday. Home from Leeds and doing the morning duties with the girls," she said.

But it seems Stacey later realised her mistake as when filming herself with her back to the camera, she realised she flashed her underwear. The mum-of-five then shared a clip where she's seen apologising to her followers for inadvertently showing off her underwear.

She humorously captioned the video: "Omg apologies for the granny pants flash." Chatting directly to her fans in the clip, Stacey explained: "I'm sorry about my granny pants this morning, I didn't even realise. I just love them so much. I just think they're the most comfortable underwear and I wear them all the time and sometimes they just do happen to be longer than my shorts."

It comes after an emotional Stacey was seen beaming with pride as she watched her eldest son, Zachary, head off to his prom this week. She was 17 when she welcomed her first child, son Zachary into the world, with his arrival coming a couple of years before she shot to fame on ITV's The X Factor in 2009.

And taking to Instagram on Wednesday (June 26), the Sort Your Life Out host revealed she was experiencing a first as a parent as Zachary joined his friends to celebrate after finishing secondary school.

She shared a string of photos of her beaming with pride alongside her 16-year-old son before he headed off to celebrate with his friends. The teen looked dapper in a light blue three-piece suit complete with a navy tie and matching pocket square. But he did keep it modern by adding what looked like a pair of Nike Dunk on his feet.

Stacey, meanwhile, also dressed up for the special occasion and looked gorgeous in a floral midi dress as she tied her hair up into a classy up do. Joe also joined them for a number of smiling snaps as other family members and friends got in on the action, with Stacey protecting their privacy by blurring their faces.

Alongside the post, the emotional mum wrote in view of her 5.9 million followers: "My baby just went to prom [crying emoji]. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this way. My Zachary, has finished his GCSEs, left school, started his first job and is off to his prom."

She continued: "Zach you are the best thing that ever happened to me. We’ve grown up together. I just can not believe how that time has flown by. Go and have the best night ever. You deserve it my darling. I’ll be on stand-by for the after-party pick up. To the moon and back Zachary."
