Stacey Solomon laughed as she told fans that her husband Joe Swash and their children were keeping her trapped in a caravan after enjoying a last-minute trip to the local holiday park.

The Loose Women panellist and the former EastEnders star took their children on the trip just days before the Easter holidays came to an end and while Stacey admitted to only being down the road from the home, dubbed Pickle Cottage, she shared how she felt like they were miles away enjoying the beach and the amenities available on the park.

During the getaway, Stacey, 34, shared numerous snaps and videos to her Instagram Story keeping her followers updated on the fun-filled trip. One photo showed Stacey on a golf buggy with her younger children Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle as she said: "Only at a caravan park do you end up doing 137 things in one day".

They were then seen enjoying some swimming, some balloon animal making and building their own teddy bears. While enjoying their swimming time Stacey shared a sweet snap of her husband Joe kissing Belle's cheek as they splashed in the indoor pool before sharing a photo of Rose and commenting on her swimming getup: "Swimming Rose getup is my favourite, she MUST wear goggle" before adding a laughing emoji.

The mum-of-five also shared some photos as the family cooked and ate dinner - a spaghetti carbonara said to be Joe's favourite - in the caravan, which appeared to have a rather idyllic countryside view. But she had earlier seemed slightly unimpressed after her family encouraged her to take part in a 'big jump.'

She wrote alongside a video fo her jumping from a ledge onto a huge crashmat: "Then the kids (and mostly Joe) forced me to do the big jump. I play it cool but hated it [laughing emoji] scared the life out of me."

But despite the holidays having now come to an end for most, on Sunday evening (April 14), Stacey revealed she wasn't allowed to go home despite an appearance on This Morning planned for Monday (April 15).

Filming herself and Joe talking to the camera, the Sort Your Life Out host said: "We're still in this blooming caravan," before Joe interjected: "The kids won't let us go home." As the couple laughed, Stacey admitted: "Neither will you! I've got to go on This Morning in the morning. I've got work to do!!

Joe commented: "I reckon there's a 75% chance that we're not going to let her go This Morning ," but as Stacey insisted she can't just 'not show up', Joe added: "No we're staying here. We're caravan people now!" As the pair continued to laugh, they revealed it was the kids who didn't want to leave.

Captioning their video, Stacey said: "Being held hostage in the campsite [crying laughing emoji]. They don't want o leave! We were supposed to go home this afternoon but the kids cried their eyes out [crying laughing emojui]. So we are staying one more night and I'm leaving them here while I go to This Morning [cryining laughing emoji and a white heart emoji]."
