Stacey Solomon unveils Love Island-style garden complete with pool at Essex home

Stacey Solomon's fans were left in awe as the TV personality showcased her Love Island villa-esque garden complete with a pool. The Loose Women star has been embracing quality time at home, especially after taking a year off to focus on her family following the birth of her daughter, Belle.

Renowned for her DIY skills which she's previously demonstrated through the transformation of her Essex residence affectionately known as Pickle Cottage, Stacey took to Instagram on Sunday, June 23, to give her followers a glimpse of her impressive outdoor space. The mum-of-five posted videos showing how she had spruced up her garden, ready for her children to enjoy their "first pool day of 2024."

In the footage, Stacey revealed that she dedicated "all week" to tidying her garden, which now boasts chic lounge chairs and a table, just in time for the warm weather. Her caption expressed her delight: "Sooooo happy I spent all week cleaning out here because it's FINALLY hot! Hello Summer."

This revelation follows Stacey's confession that she prefers the comfort of her home at Pickle Cottage with Joe Swash and their brood over attending star-studded events. Speaking to The Daily Mirror, she shared: "I love coming home. My favourite part of the day is getting excited about coming home to Pickle Cottage, where I live with my husband Joe [Swash] and five kids."

Stacey Solomon also took ti Instagram to show off her impressive abode and share snippets of her gardening adventures. She excitedly posted about harvesting carrots from her garden to add to a salad, although the peas didn't make it to the dish as her kids devoured them straight from the vine.

She shared: "Pulled some carrots to grate in the salad. I would have put some of our peas in there but the kids just ate them straight off the vine. They didn't stand a chance."

The TV personality also opened up about the joys of motherhood, particularly cherishing the moments when she's relaxing on the sofa with her children clambering over her.

Stacey expressed: "My favourite thing in the world is getting on the sofa. And first the dogs, then all the pickles [the children] follow along, piling on top of me. Just laying with them, watching TV, having cuddles and being together... it's where I belong. I know all too well there'll be a day when they'd rather play the PlayStation, so I'm making the most of these moments."

Stacey is a proud mum to a blended family that includes 16-year-old Zachary, whom she shares with former partner Dean Cox, and 11 year old Leighton, whose dad is ex-fiance Aaron Barnham. With her current partner Joe, she has four year old Rex, two year old Rose, and one year old Belle.
