Scotland boss Steve Clarke will be allowed to decide his own fate and reportedly retains unwavering support from the SFA in the wake of the country's disastrous Euro 2024 campaign.

The nation was left floored after our boys went out with a whimper after a pasting at the hands of Germany and a meek last-gasp loss to Hungary were sandwiched between a morale-boosting draw with Switzerland. Now Clarke – after five years and two appearances at major tournaments – will likely sit down with the SFA later this summer to pore over the events of Euro 2024.

But the Scottish Sun insist Clarke's future is not under threat and those in charge of our national teams remain behind the 60-year-old. And that means it would likely be down to the former Kilmarnock boss himself if he was to call time on his tenure as Scotland boss. Clarke earned widespread praise for securing our place at Euro 2020 and 2024, however, fans, were left vexed by our efforts in Germany with many wondering if the time is now to try something fresh.
